NCS 70L is banded by Karl and Leslie Huegerich, NCS Members/Exhibitors.  The legband on the move!

K&L Aviary has been keeping birds for almost 15 years!  We are located in the Heart of North Carolina in the suburbs of Raleigh, NC.  We emphasize our efforts in breeding certain species of birds including:  cockatiels, parrotlets, lineolated parakeets, and grass parakeets.  Our birds are located in an attached aviary where they are in a temperature controlled environment with plenty of natural and full spectrum lighting.  

Leslie is currently involved in the following organizations.  We believe in giving back to the avicultural community:

Our goal is to first breed wonderful pet birds that have great temperments.  We use ONLY the top exhibition lines in the country as a foundation of our stock.   We rarely add new stock to our breeding stock, but when we do, K&L Aviary will only work in the best stock that we can find.   If you would like to know more about exhibition, you can get more information at www.cockatiels.org, www.internationalparrotletsociety.org or go to www.bluequaker.com.  They both have great articles on exhibition! 

Whether you want to pick from some great show lines or obtain a great pet, K&L can handpick a bird for you.  We offer more than just birds as we are available for consultations before and after your purchase.
